Jonathan Plowright, piano

In December 2012 Swedish specialist label BIS Records released the first in a series of CDs of the complete Brahms solo piano works performed by Jonathan Plowright, featuring the monumental Piano Sonata No. 3 in F minor, coupled with the celebrated Handel Variations, two of the landmark works of 19th century solo piano literature.

The CD attracted worldwide attention, garnering many awards and 5* reviews in the media.

Jonathan's interpretations were favourably compared to those of the great Brahms interpreters Lupu, Katchen and Curzon.
