Nóta - new artists, new sounds

Nóta is an independent music promotion company based in Co. Dublin, Ireland.

The organisation was established in November 2007 with the objective of making classical music concerts more accessible to a broader audience.

In November 2007 Nóta organised a highly successful and well attended concert and lecture in the National Gallery of Ireland to celebrate Poland’s Independence Day, featuring world renowned British pianist Jonathan Plowright and musicologist Joseph Herter.  The diverse audience who visited the National Gallery that day, many with little prior experience of Polish culture, left it with a new positive appreciation for previously un-experienced artists, musical repertoire, history and cultural life. Principal sponsor of Nóta’s Polish events was Arthur Cox Solicitors.

Nóta also presented a highly acclaimed solo recital for Jonathan Plowright at the Wigmore Hall, London in November 2008, which may be heard on YouTube.

Nóta developed and presented a series of events held in Dublin during March 2010 to celebrate the centenary of American composer Samuel Barber and his deep connections with Ireland.

Nóta is managed by Conor A Daly.    Conor Daly is also a promoter and agent of Jonathan Plowright.
