Dinner Cabaret at Stephens Green Hibernian Club

Saturday 14th June 2008, Classical Cabaret & Fine Dining at Dublin's Stephens Green Hibernian Club - featuring Jonathan Plowright , No. 9 St Stephens Green, Dublin 2, 6.30 p.m. - 5.15 p.m.

Nóta presented a unique piano concert and dinner event at Dublin's fine Stephen's Green Hibernian Club on the evening of Saturday 14th June, featuring  international virtuoso Jonathan Plowright, “One of the finest living pianists” (Gramophone Magazine).

This featured a cocktail reception, a programme of popular piano classics by Chopin,  Mozart, Gershwin etc. (with virtuoso pyrotechnics and plenty of surprises..!),  played on a Steinway Model D Grand Piano (the king of instruments!) and followed by a sumptuous four-course dinner, in beautiful surroundings and in the best of company…  What better way to spend a summer evening?

6.30 p.m.   Cocktail reception – in upstairs Reading Room

7.00 p.m.   Plowright concert - in Dining Room,  followed immediately by Dinner

Excerpts from the programme, which was recorded live, can be heard on YouTube:
