Nóta - new artists, new sounds Nóta is an independent classical music promotion and management organisation with offices in the UK and Ireland. The organisation was established in November 2007 with the objective of making classical music concerts more accessible to a broader audience. Nóta is also responsible for the promotion and management of distinguished international concert artists. General Manager Conor Daly / Conchubhar Ó Dálaigh Artist Manager Diane Shaw Past Nóta events include: Thomas Hampson Recital, National Concert Hall, Dublin (May 2010) Samuel Barber Centenary Celebrations, National Concert Hall, Dublin (March 2010) Nóta developed and presented a series of events held in Dublin during March 2010 to celebrate the centenary of American composer Samuel Barber and his deep connections with Ireland. Piano Recital by Jonathan Plowright at Wigmore Hall, London (November 2008) Nóta presented a highly acclaimed solo recital for Jonathan Plowright at the Wigmore Hall, London in November 2008, which may be heard on YouTube. Polish Independence Day Celebrations at the National Gallery of Ireland (November 2007) In November 2007 Nóta organised a highly successful and well attended concert and lecture in the National Gallery of Ireland to celebrate Poland’s Independence Day, featuring world renowned British pianist Jonathan Plowright and musicologist Joseph Herter. The diverse audience who visited the National Gallery that day, many with little prior experience of Polish culture, left it with a new positive appreciation for previously un-experienced artists, musical repertoire, history and cultural life. Principal sponsor of Nóta’s Polish events was Arthur Cox Solicitors. Is comhlacht léiriúchán imeachtaí cheoil é Nóta. Tá sé mar sprioc againn ceol suimiúil a chothú agus a chur chun cinn, ceol nach bhfuil mórán eolais air ag lucht éisteachta agus lucht féachana cheana féin. Tá ionadaithe againn in Éireann agus i Sasana. Bíonn ár gcuid imeachtaí ar siúil ar fud an domhain. Má tá tuilleadh eolais uait, déan teaghmáil linn ar info@nota.ie Supporting Barnardos
